Who we are

Nastasia is skilled in researching, advocating for and advancing human rights, with a focus on gender equality, climate justice, children’s rights, as well as economic and social rights such as the right to food. Trained on three continents as a human rights and gender equality jurist, she has spent the past 10 years committing her expertise and energy to the pursuit of gender justice and children’s rights with NGOs, community-based organizations, child rights networks, and academic institutions. She currently operates her consultancy practice, Ujasiri Human Rights providing high-quality advocacy, training and research services to a wide range of development actors at multiple levels. She is passionate about challenging intersectional injustice and supporting initiatives and activists. Nastasia is fluent in French, English, Spanish and speaks Kiswahili.
